With the ECASHL about to start its first season I'd thought it would be cool to see what teams each GMS selects.
1.EDMONTON OILERS - DAN
With the first pick its my opinion that Dan goes with the Oilers .
They are loaded from top to bottom with stars.
And have 2 80+ Goalies.
2.TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS - MARK
Despite Mark saying he is going to select Chicago , Detroit or Nordiques as his top 3.
I think he can't resist making Wendel Clark great again.
3.QUEBEC NORDIQUES- JORDAN
Easy pick here Jordo is such a homer for his Avs.
And Burnaby Joe is a good building block to start with.
4.CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS - SCAPRA
The Hawks are loaded with young stars like JR , Belfour and good vets like Savard and Wilson.
5.DETROIT REDWINGS-NATE
Nate loves his redwings wether they are good or not he's taken them regardless.
6. BOSTON BRUINS - JESSE AKA VEGAS NO LONGER.
Another easy pick can Jesse help get the powerhouse Bruins over the hump.
7.CALGARY FLAMES - KASTNER
Can Kastner help the Flames get over the Oilers curse.
8.LOS ANGELES KINGS-MCBATH
Mike takes a shot with a young Kings team that should surprise some.
9. New York Rangers- BRIAN
NJ boy takes a team with a good mix of talent and two 80ov goalies that should help him win a few games.
10. Vancouver Canucks - CLAY
Canucks have a young D core and Kirk McLean is in his prime.
11.PITTSBURGH PENGUINS- RON
No brainer if they slide this fair .
12. Montreal Canadiens - PETER
How can you pass on ROY and the Habs in this spot.
13.BUFFALO SABRES- REGGIE
Teams are starting to get slim from here on in.
14.WINNIPEG JETS- Jake
Some good young talent for Jake to build around.
15. New Jersey DEVILS-AL
Al would be beside him self if he got his beloved NJ devils and a shot to land Marty.
16.PHILADELPHIA - ROBO
What can I say Rob loves his flyers . lol
17. STL BLUES - JASON
Maybe they are available at this spot maybe not. But Hull and Oates is a great combo in hockey and Music .
18. HARTFORD WHALERS-MAT
With the scraps available its the best bet.
19.NEW YORK ISLANDERS-GRAHAM
Some good pieces to work with like Healy and Pat LLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAFONTAINE.
