Updated (40 games played)
Calder Race: Murray +++ Klee ++ Zelepukin +
Glen Murray (74ov RW for Buffalo) is running away in the Calder race, but will soon enter camps and maybe this will slow him down? With Mogilny injured, Murray is currently double shifted and playing the top line.
Ken Klee cooled off but remains the top rookie d-man and sports a gaudy +28, still a sure bet to get nominated and the biggest challenger to unseat Murray.
Zelepukin remains the second best forward, with Kovalenko and Lehtinen on his heels.

Updated (64 games played) - I'll update one last time when the season ends, good luck rookies!
Calder Race predictor: Murray ++++ Brisebois ++++ Zelepukin +++ Petrov +++ Klee +++ Pronger +++ Lehtinen ++ Ruchinsky + Plante + Kariya +
The race has tightened up, with Klee falling from the top defensive spot, with only 5 points in the past 25 games, he's fallen behind fellow rookie teammate Patrice Brisebois who racked up 24 points since the last update. And Chris Pronger has surged with 19 points in 25 games.
Meanwhile the forward group sees a handful of players creep up on Glen Murray. And while Glen still leads the race, he's cooled off since camps and Mogilny returning from injury, getting only 10 points in his last 20 games. This allowed the consistent Zelepukin to gain ground, while Oleg Petrov leapfrogged to the top 5 with 16 points in 23 games.

Strange but true stat line comes from 66ov defender Alexei Gusarov: 2g 6a 8p, +8
Playing 52 games for my Kings, Gusarov sports a +8 on a team with an -80 goal differential LOL
